Choose to turn left, heading due north, at the end of Wheatland Street and you’re a few minutes’ walk away along the coast to the ever-popular Brighton Beach and Jetty. You’ll find two playgrounds and a coffee stop along the way to keep the kids entertained. The Brighton Esplanade and Jetty Road offer many dining and shopping options if you are wanting some coastal retail or beauty therapy. Further along the beachfront from Brighton you can take in public art sculptures, aboriginal significance, beautiful beaches and learn the history of the region and by following the coastal walk from Seacliff to Glenelg.
Stand Up Paddle SA on the Esplanade has something for the adventure lovers; try out stand up paddle boarding hire, lessons, or give the paddle board, Yoga and surf classes a go. The Seacliff Esplanade, any direction you choose, is a picturesque & safe place to go for a bike ride, with dedicated walking & cycle paths. Bring your own bikes, scooters, skateboards or tricycles or bike hire is available from Spin|way automated bike hire terminal located at the Caravan Park nearby. Anne Morgenstern offers Kundalini Yoga, known as the yoga of awareness, every Thursday at 9.30-10.45am at the Seacliff Uniting Church on Wheatland Street. Drop ins welcome.
